Thank you for your interest in FOEBE+! Below are some key pieces of information to review before starting the application process.
This form is your official application to the FOEBE+ training programme.
Application deadline: 2 November 2025, 23.59 Apply and be selected!
Minimum eligibility requirements:
You must be enrolled in one of the FOEBE+ project's partner institutions at master's or doctoral level.
You must have a strong interest in the bioeconomy and entrepreneurship, and be highly motivated to create a sustainable business.
There is no age limit.

University of Bologna (UNIBO - Italy),
University of Eastern Finland (UEF - Finland),
University of Hohenheim (UHOH - Germany),
University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna (BOKU - Austria),
Wageningen University and Research Centre (WUR - Netherlands),
Warsaw University of Life Sciences (WULS - Poland).
FOEBE+ project:
The FOEBE+ project offers an 8-module programme in a hybrid format, both synchronous and asynchronous, face-to-face and online. These learning activities will be complemented by a mandatory full-time study week at your home university with the local cohort.
A structured and flexible course format: while the various modules are organised within a specific timeline, you will be able to progress at your own pace within these timeframes.
FOEBE+ requires a minimum commitment of 3 hours of work per week, from January to May 2026.
If you want:
- To develop your entrepreneurship skills and innovate for the bioeconomy in an international setting
- To experiment with the innovation journey hands-on, from ideation to business model development and investor pitching
- To hone your soft skills (teamwork, leadership, project management, communication) and creativity and learn about bioeconomy in its diversity across Europe
- To benefit from the mentorship of an international team of bioeconomy and entrepreneurship experts, and explore the innovation ecosystem of your home university
Recognition:
A course completion certificate will be delivered to learners who have successfully completed all the training modules and the challenge week group work.
ECTS credits are granted according to the specific regulations of each institution.
Funding:
The Foebe+ project is co-funded by Erasmus+ and your institution. This training is free of charge. However, no funding will be provided for travel expenses or participation in local face-to-face classes or the challenge week.
